An estimated one million people took to the streets of Toronto for the annual Caribana parade one of the biggest and most excited parades on the continent. The parade was the highlight of a three-day celebration of Caribbean culture and draws people from around the world.
At the head of the parade was Mayor David Miller of Toronto, who says Caribana is "a celebration of everything that's good about Toronto.''
After the parade, thousands were still partying -- and saying they planned to keep on dancing well into the night. Police officers kept an eye on things, but did not report any problems
