Bulbie's millions untouchable

Monday, November 21, 2005

Jamaican police say they are unable to touch slain racketeer Donovan 'Bulbie' Bennett's multi-million fortune because there is no law that allows them to seize assets not directly traceable to gangsters.
Police can only grab Bennett's assumed 100 million dollars in assets if other claimants prove they were the proceeds of crime.
But The Proceeds of Crime bill is in Parliament waiting to be passed.
Bennett was head of the Spanish Town-based Klansman gang, which competed with another notorious outfit, the One Order gang, for control of the old capital's extortion and protection rackets.
Last month, Bennett was killed by the police during a gunfight at a seven-bedroom mansion, one of several homes he is said have owned. But by official records, Bennet owns nothing.

Try To Help The Young Men
Cam any one out there start a webb site to talk to the youths before they comit a Crime. They could come on line and vent their anger before they actually do the shooting. I am very concern because I have a 17 year old Son. They could remain anonamanous and spill their anger on line. Sometimes youths just wants someone to talk to. In Canada 52 young people died by Gun alone most are black youg men between the ages of 17 to 24. "The Toronto Star" December 31, 2005. I would have create one, but I am a Computer Novice, I am not afraid to say that.

Crime and killing
I am not going to justify this man killing because I dont know him or the circunstances of is death, apart from what I red in the news, however I do know that it is wrong to take another humanbeign life, we have to look at ourselves and make that change. Not having enough for yourself does not give you the right to kill someone for theirs, how would you like to be on the other side of the Gun?

get this clear
it not pick up a gun and take a nother persn life for nothing but sufferation means a lot when people is working for tree thousand dallor a week in jamaica you under paying them people cant survive off that you telling them to take other people things because thats not enuff when you cant get jobs crime rise. they saywho know better must do better come on dount work the people for and when they take something then you kill them they dont even get a chance to prove themself innercent before the police take there life now that could not happend in other country first the police should not take law in there own hand right there the cops vilated the law that person should get a fair trial and and if he or her is guilty then they pay the price for what they did .bring back the execution and dont kill out the old jamaica

sweet sweet JAMAICA
mi can say 1 thing the man had a georgeous house. And it is just so sad to see sweet sweet Jamaica gone to the dogs. I wish they could bring my island back. currently i am living in the US and if anyone ask me where i am from i feel proud to open my mouth and say Jamaica, because regardless of whats happening i am and will forever be a Jamaican. And Jamaica isn't the only Island or Country thats voilent there is violence everywhere its just that Jamaica has a lot of recognition through its music, and beautiful tourist resorts etc. i feel sorry for the innocent and intellegent ppl who has no where to go and nothing to do.

Gun Crime In Jamaica
If the government wants to sole crime, they would have to give Jamaicans the right to bear arms, only a Gun can match a Gun. Try that and see if it works. Change the Laws, for example if someone try to rod you, you have the right to shoot him on site. The bad will think twice when the know that they are not the only ones that have Guns. Take my advise, make it a Gun State. It is one already, just make it offical.Remember only a Gun can Match a Gun. When you go to the USA you have to be careful because you dont know who has a Gun.

The Land I LOVE
Jamaica is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL Islands in the Caribbean. It is so sad and hard to hear the negative about it. But truthfully, the PEOPLE of the island are the ones that are causing the negative media attention. We all need to come as one to make the island a better place to live, BUT is has to start in the HEART of the people. Because all it takes is one bad apple to start a chain reaction. I miss U sweet and beautiful Jamaica.

seen
yow

so when u people have achance to do sometihing good for ure or other peoples just do it cause action spaek louder than words and if u are not able to build a school for ure comunity like garnett did i am sure there are other ways to find something good to do. if ure blank and just not able to start big financial projects do the good u can do and give the love u can give and stop cheating each other because one do this and one do that.
everybody do what he can do and what he want do and acording to that u get ure pay.
there are many people who build schools for somebody or do some projects like that just to better them own situation in the social part of society like bill gates build some schools in south america and still work with concerns together who suck out poorpeople in africa and hold up wars.

u have to make sure that it comes from the heart and not only to stand up and point fingers on other people and saying look iam better than u.
that is foolishness

Crime is like a disease in Jamaica!
It is so sad to know that one of the most beautiful countries in the world is now the most disgusting and wicked one. Jamaica is actually not the only country that is violent but at the moment, it stands out as one of the most deadliest & heartless countryin the world. The truth is,when you are in Jamaica amongst them, it dosen't seem so bad until when you leave the country and start reading the news everyday. You get so shocked, knowing that all the while you were among these kind of heartless and cruel people.I know that there are a lot of Jamaicans back home who are quite nice, caring and intelligent people. It is such a pity that the good has to suffer for the bad.

Crime In Jamaica
Writers I agree with what is wrong with Jamaica and gun crime, I know crime is every where, but I am concerned about Jamaica. In the olden day people had notting much therefore there was notting to take from anyone. Crime exist abroad too, but not as much. As far as I can se it, we are better off staying in the white man country because our black brothers are the one to be afraid of. My 16 years old son came to live with me and this is what he said to me, what a difference, when you live in Jamaica you live your life in fear everday. I was shock when he said that. I could not answer him, I love Jamaica and I did want say anything that hurt his feelings, but deep down I know it was true.

I COULDN'T AGREE WITH U MORE
I KNOW THAT JAMAICA IS NOT BAD ITS MOST OF THE PPL WHO CALL THEMSELVES GANG LEADER, THUGS, SHOTTAS ETC THAT MAKE OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY SO DEADLY. WE REALLY NEED TO WAKE UP. I DO THINK THAT THE POLITICIANS ARE TO BE BLAMED FOR WHATS REALLY TAKING PLACE. LOOK AT THE COST FOR EDUCATION, AND IF U CANT PAY SCHOOL FEE THEM U CANT HAVE AN EDUCATION THE SYSTEM IS CORRUPTED THE SOCIETY IS CORRUPTED. I AM SURE GUNS AND DRUGS WERENT MANUFACTURED IN JA I THINK GOD NEED TO SEND A STRONG STORM TO WASH OUT ALL THE BAD SEEDS SO JA CAN B JA ONCE MORE PEACE AND LOVE AND UNIFICATION.

Bulbie's
I am currently living in Ontario, Canada and I'm very disgusted by the numbers of deaths that are taking place here and in Jamaica. Come on people, when are the killings of your own going to stop? We need to start taking a stance and speaking out against these ungodly acts on our race. People like Bulbie should be definitely eliminated from our earthly existence. He must be in hell reasoning with the devil-that is exactly where he belongs. The following is my analogy of Jamaica. Jamaica is beautifully landscaped project with the most flourishing grass and now the weeds are growing. In order to keep the grass from dying out, you have to get rid of the weeds that are forthcoming because they will kill the grass.
In essence, get rid of the wicked people reeking havoc on other people's lives.
Most of what's taking place is out of greed. The fast life filled with drugs and gang - that's NOT the ONLY path to take.
Children of paradise, stay steadfast and steer away from the demons of evil.
