95 percent of the murders are taking place in the city so when yall talking concenterate on the city which is the main issue. i have been to jamaica on quite a few occasions this year and i am mainly in the country area . i am still amazed how far away the crime seems to be its as if nothing is happening, they need to concentrate on the city vibes .. but then all major cities all over the world has this problem !!!!!

Jamaica is one of the richest island in the Caribbean Now the people of the ghetto (who are the ones being killed) are not the ones who are rich but they are the ones dying every day . Now most of them are not lucky to have finished high school so they go about doing what the system appear to have left them with which is crime **** take a look at that also great Government system***** the money the system invests in crime is more that triple the amount it would take to send theses youngsters to school.. Ask yourself after the drugs are recovered and the bodies counted what happens to the large sum of drugs and cash HAHAHA well one can only ask the well educated government officials.. Its much more profitable to have theses young kids killing each other and collect the money than to educated them. Theses young kids take dying and paying taxes to a new level. And most people thought the bad boys of the Ghetto never paid tax.

Amazing how everyone dislike Jamaicans
Jamaica do have a crime rate problem, I think alot of people knows that. What I can't understand is why everyone from Jamaica of to be cast as ganster's or murderes. I am from jamaica and mostly all my friends or from jamaica and non of us are like that. Just because some people choose to follow the wrong path do not mean all will follow. I have been living in the US for a long time now and I've seen the crime rate double or triple, does that mean all American's are evil, no because it's a small percent of people that commit these crimes.
