Jamaicas government has announced plans to open trade councils in Canada and Trinidad. Industry and Commerce Minister, Karl Samuda has revealed that in addition to opening those two new councils, dormant ones will be upgraded and new ones opened in countries where none exist. Mr. Samuda, who was speaking at a job creation awards function, said the move is expected to boost Jamaica's presence in other countries.
Offices will be opened in Brussels, Their office in London already established and in operation, New York is next in line Mr. Samuda said.
