Guyana Police find weapon used in massacre, linked to murder of Agriculture Minister

Monday, February 4, 2008

Police in Guyana have recovered an AK 47 rifle used in the recent massacre of 11 civilians in the their homes. "Ballistics tests conducted on the AK-47 rifle recovered during the armed confrontation between the joint (security) services and armed gunmen in Buxton, east coast Demerara, matched the firearm with shells found at the scenes of the recent massacre," Police spokesman Ivelaw Whittaker said. Police have also connected the gang to the death of Guyana's Agriculture Minister, Satyadeow Sawh and two of his siblings, who were murdered in 2006.

I have no words for whats going on in Guyana. All I can say is let the PPP resign because the government can't control the criminals in Guyana. Let the PPP resign its that simple.
