Let's not generalize
It seems rather simple to me. Bounty broke the law (it may be a stupid law) and had to face the penalty for doing so. It's not like they targetted Bounty either. A slew of rappers faced the same charges and also some local entertainers have faced charges due to it.
It seems like people using this situation to vent their small minded views of the people of Trinidad. The fact is that he was invited to the island. Why? because there was a demand for him to be there.
So let's try to stay on topic and leave all of the small minded, backward and non progressive views to yourself.
It does nothing to progress the Caribbean as a whole.
$400TT ain't gonna hurt him. That was probably his ganja allowance.
