St Lucia's second Nobel Prize Winner Derek Walcott is slated to perform at the Calabash Literary festival in Jamaica this year. The event will be held on at Jake's in Treasure Beach, St Elizabeth, Jamaica from Friday, May 23, to Sunday, May 25. The poet and playwright will appear in a midday 'Chatterbox' feature where he will speak with Calabash's programmer, author Kwame Dawes, as well as read from his work. This year's festival lineup includes authors from the Caribbean, Ireland, Belarus, Scotland, Nigeria, Cuba, Bolivia, the US and Canada.
