Guyanese president, Bharrat Jagdeo, has condemned the state-run Antigua Broadcasting Service for a report it carried on a meeting with him and the Guyanese community in Antigua during his visit there for the CARICOM heads of government conference. The president said the negative coverage that his meeting received was probably to create an impression that it did not go too well. Jagdeo met with a number of Guyanese nationals who voiced there concerns about what is happening in Guyana. Some spoke about reasons why they left the country while others spoke of there hopes for the country. |
