OPPOSITION LEADER Basdeo Panday was given another adjournment in his retrial for failing to declare a London bank account, after he informed the court that his matter had not been called at the High Court. Panday, 75, leader of the Opposition United National Congress-Alliance, is charged with failing to declare a London bank account to the Integrity Commission for three consecutive years, while he held office as prime minister. His retrial was scheduled to begin before Port of Spain Magistrate Ejenny Espinet on June 20, but a High Court challenge by his lawyer has delayed that process.
