Prime Minister Bruce Golding gave the thumbs up for the implementation of recommendations of the Task Force looking at ways to address the crisis of abuse and violence against the nation's children. The Prime Minister instructed the Task Force to immediately establish a 3 digit emergency number where children in crisis can call and report abuse. Cable, television and Cellular providers will also be required to work closely with the Constabulary Communication Network to display photos of missing children and publicize relevant information. The Ministry of National Security has also been instructed to strengthen the operations of the Centre for Investigation of Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).
