David Thompson, Prime Minister of Barbados stated that his government is committed to complying with CARICOM's employment regulations. He further said he cannot make any promises to eliminate all barriers to freedom of movement in Barbados
Mr. Thompson said his government would like those who are invited to the island's shores to enjoy adequate social services in an orderly fashion. He added that CARICOM should first seek to improve the standard of living of all its members.
