The chairman of Leeward Island Airways Transport (LIAT) Jean Holder stated while counterparts are cutting flights their increasing their services.
Mr. Holder made the statement at the function held to launch LIAT services to Canouan, in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The new service was launched at a brief ceremony officiated by St Vincent Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves.
Holder said the commencement of the new service was a testament of LIAT's commitment to the region. He added, "I'm very happy to be here to celebrate what I would say is the important addition to our 21 destinations."
