Another West Indian has been knighted by Britains Queen Elizabeth the second. The Right Honourable Dr. Kennedy Simmonds of St Kitts now has the title of Sir Kennedy. This means he is a Knight Commander of the most distinguished order of St. Michael and St. George.
The Order of St Michael and St. George, which Sir Kennedy is now a member, is regarded as the ORDER OF CHIVALRY. On this Badge of Gold, in the centre is a raised figure of St Michael subduing Satan. This represents GOOD overcoming EVIL Theres also the Cross of St. George and the raised figure of St. George slaying the dragon.
