Cuban dissidents are predicting that President Fidel Castro will die soon. The top American diplomat in Cuba, James Cason held a function for Mr Castros non-supporters. He invited them to fill a time capsule with messages about their hopes for a post-Castro cuba.
The capsule -- which also contained a copy of George Orwell's anti-Stalinist novel, Animal Farm -- was then buried in a garden in Havana. Mr Cason promised it will be opened when Cuba holds democratic elections.
President Castro has in the past accused the American representative of being a bully with diplomatic immunity."
