The three month curfew in the Grand Cayman Islands has been lifted. The curfew began from 14 September after a state of emergency was declared as a result of massive devastation caused by Hurricane Ivan.
The curfew was first implemented from 6pm 6am with reduced time, as conditions returned to normalcy.
Though the curfew is no longer in effect, the islands police chief has warned, there will be a heavy presence of lawmen on the streets.
