It could be quite possibly the most expensive transfer of coconuts ever. UK authorities have seized fifty four and a half million dollars worth of cocaine found in a shipment of coconuts from Guyana. And its the largest bust ever in London.
Authorities have arrested six men in connection with the crime.
They suspect the men of arranging for the shipment to arrive at an east London market.
The drugs were allegedly hidden inside the fruit. The sacks of coconuts were stacked in the back of a lorry parked outside of the market.
