US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be visiting Barbados and three other countries to participate in the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS). Clinton is also expected to consult regional partners on issues of shared interest.
The other nations that Clinton will be visiting from July 6-10 are Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. She is expected to be in Barbados on the 9th and 10th. Clinton will be participating in the General Assembly of the OAS General Assembly, which is the Western Hemispheres premier multilateral organization from July 6-8 in Peru. She is then scheduled to travel to Ecuador and Colombia to meet with government leaders in both countries.
The Secretary of States visit follows the inaugural Caribbean-US Security Cooperation Dialogue held in Washington on May 27, 2010.
