Guyana is now making helicopters. One that was locally assembled, took to the skies last week, six months after work started on a production facility.
The helicopter is a feature of a US$5 investment by Lynden Armogan, President of RotorWay International Guyana. It has a starting price of twenty five million dollars.
The Exec 162F helicopter seats two. It can be airborne for about two hours and flies at a top speed of 115 miles per hour
