What sense does it make for poor countries like Trinidad, Jamaica and Guyana to pledge money to the Asian relief effort when most of our population are just as poor as those who suffered in the disaster? Its a slap in the face, especially when you have developed nations such as AMERIKKKA, Europe and nations in the Middle East whose arms have to be twisted in order to get money that they are probably going to spend on their fancy cars and country clubs. In all honesty its a sad thing what happened in Asia but please remember theres an even worse tragedy happening all over Africa and no one seems to be concerned. So I beg all of these CARICOM heads of state to please get your priorities straight and start looking after your own people.
