Barbados is seriously considering the request by Cricket World Cup 2007 for the country to become the agency for testing of samples for all players.
In the Americas only four centers provide that service, and Deputy Prime Minister Mia Mottley said Barbados would become the fifth, should it take on the challenge.
Mottley said in almost every sporting endeavor at the international or regional level, there is need for testing, to ensure that people do not give themselves unfair advantage by taking stimuli to be able to out-perform others.
