Two Trinidadian Ministers have denied being bribed in a seismic project, an allegation that came out in Parliamentary debates.
Opposition Member of Parliament, Kamla Persad-Bissessar read a letter in Parliament which alleged that Works and Transport Minister Franklin Khan and Energy Minister Eric Williams were paid bribes.
Persad-Bissessar said the hand-written letter was sent to Prime Minister Patrick Manning by on of the ruling partys councilors.She said she received the letter in her mailbox.
The project in question is the exploration of the Eastern Block by Talisman Limited, a company in a joint venture with Petrotrin.
