It is only a matter of time, warned Jamaicas Prime Minister- PJ Patterson, for all those linked to the illegal drug trade-to be caught! Patterson stated, all those involved in any illicit trade will be caught and will face the full consequences of the law. The Prime Ministers stern remarks came after he learned of comments of supporters of the drug dons who believe government officials should leave drug lords alone, claiming that the drug lords are helping to boost the economy and promote positive community activity. In response, Patterson said, Let me make it clear that the drug dons, have declared war on us, and we cannot and we will not surrender. The Prime Minister in a meeting with the PNPs executive council, Sunday, hinted at impending changes in the operations of the islands security forces but opted not to supply details at this time.
