The U.S is up in arms as to how it will deal with the detained anti-Castro Cuban Louis Posada. Posada is believed to be one of the masterminds behind the 1976 bombing of a Cubana Airline. The bomb exploded as the plane left Barbados for Cuba. Seventy-Three passengers died in the attack, including eleven Guyanese, six of whom were on their way to begin study at Cuban Universities. Posadas two accomplices were arrested in Trinidad and convicted. But the alleged mastermind managed to escape from a Venezuelan jail. He was arrested recently as he tried to enter the US via Miami.
