The Caribbean Court of Justice says it will be ready if Barbados wants it to hear the appeal involving two convicted murderers whose death sentences were commuted to life imprisonment.
CCJ President, Michael de la Bastide says the court is finalizing the rules that will govern appeals. He says They will be ready in a week to ten days.
The Barbados Government has 21 days in which to file its appeal against the Court of Appeal ruling handed down a week ago, that commutes the sentences of Jeffrey Joseph and Lennox Boyce who were convicted for the brutal 1999 murder of Marquelle Hippolyte.
