Antillean prime Miniser Etienne Ys has warned the Netherlands, tense relations with his island will worsen if the Dutch government goes ahead with plans to restrict entry to unemployed Netherland Antilles youths.
Prime Minister Ys was speaking in the Hague at the end of a week-long visit to the Netherlands. He said Antillean feel they are being discriminated against, even though they carry Dutch passports.
The Dutch islands leader asked The Hague has to rethink the controversial policy.
But He has not made headway with the Dutch over their plans to refuse entry to young Antilleans who don't have a job or are not students, and to send back Antilleans who have a criminal record.
