Jamaicas national carrier has received a clean bill of health from the US-based Federal Aviation Administration, FAA.
Transport Minister Robert Pickersgill told Parliament Tuesday, Air Jamaica has received its Air Worthiness Certificate.
That certification was issued at the end of last month.
This ends months of apprehension about Air Jamaica's safety oversight capability after an assessment carried out by the FAA last December found minor deficiencies.
