There have been several deaths as Hurricane Dennis unleashed fierce winds of up to 240 kilometres per hour and heavy rains, on Cuba and Jamaica.
Cuban President Fidel Castro reported there were 10 deaths in southeastern Cuba. Another five people were earlier reported killed in Haiti, bringing the known overall death toll for the Caribbean to 15.
Meanwhile, officials from relief agencies in Jamaica were conducting over last weekend following extensive flood damage caused by the hurricane.
Hundreds of people remained in shelters as their homes were under water.
While there have been no reports of deaths, there have significant damage to agriculture, roads and some bridges.
