Nigeria President warns against abuse of power, calls for closer oil ties

Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has warned the legislature of democratic societies must not abuse its constitutional powers.
He also called for joint ventures in oil and gas to help in developing Trinidad and Tobagos tourism industry. President Obasanjo was on a four day visit to the twin-island republic.
The Nigerian leader addressed the joint Assembly of both houses while on his visit to join in emancipation day celebrations.
