Trinidad and Tobago has given its highest national award, the Trinity Cross to Secretary General of CARICOM, Dr Edwin Carrington.
The award was presented to Dr Carrington President George Maxwell Richards. It's in recognition of Dr Carringtons dedication and outstanding contribution to national and regional development.
The Trinity Cross was presented to the distinguished CARICOM leader during a ceremony at Presidents House in St. Anns, Port of Spain. It's all part of marking Trinidad and Tobagos 43rd year of Independence.
