West Indies batting legend Sir Vivian Richards is questioning Brian Laras leadership and believes that Lara should step down as captain of the West Indies team.
Following the teams 3 nil series loss in June at home in the Caribbean to England, Sir Vivian who resigned as chairman of the West Indies selection panel, doubts Laras leadership capabilities and thinks that he is unable to motivate the team.
Sir Vivian said that the current West Indies side needs to improve in all areas of their game especially concentration.
Sir Vivian who is the most successful West Indies captain ever, took over as captain of the West Indies from Clive Lloyd in 1985. He maintained his reputation as the worlds best bats man, with a record 27 wins in 50 Tests between 1986 and 1991.
