I do not know what the situation is like there now, I left there many years ago. What I do know however, is that's not a smart political move; because Jamaica is the most developed Island in the Caribbean, on the other hand , the world's weather is changing causing a lots of Hurricane to form in the region, you might need to evacuate your people and Jamaica is the nearest country to your Island. What about the Medical aspect? Jamaica's medical system is good; you might need their help in that area, medical care is very expensive in Canada and the US. I think your decision will fail, please re-visit and reverse your decision.
