Vincentians go the polls Dec 7

Saturday, November 12, 2005

The Parliament of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is now dissolved to pave the way for general elections on December 7.
Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves announced the voting date at a public meeting of his Unity Labour Party.
Dr Gonsalves praised his government for what he termed an outstanding job in turning the country around from he felt was a terrible mess to what he said was real and visible progress on all fronts.
He is hoping for a second straight term for the ULP. The party won twelve seats to the three of the New Democratic Party at the elections in 2001.
Opposition leader Arnhim Eustace, who led St. Vincent from 2000-2001, said he wasn't surprised by the election date.

i hope ralph stay
ST VINCENT, jah knows,we came a very long way to get where we are.
I am 100% vincy young but i live their long enough to know james mitchel did nothing for STV.
Ralph met stv in a mess and when he got their the people were expecting mericles, and ralph took all the mess and turn stv into a new country.
Look how long we needed a international airport,i can go on for ever but i hope ralph stay as prime minister for another five years he is doing a good job.

I love STV to the max.

Election for St. Vincent
I really do belive that St. Vincent needs to have another election because the carribean all together needs help, and if one Country can turn something around then all the rest can. I have someone who lives in St. Vincent now who I really care for so it is good that people want to help change things for the best.
