There are some people that deserves to be locked up ( rapist, murders ). Some people see prision as a second home ( especially here in the U.S.A) . PAY THE PRICE!!! I think it is a good idea to let them work to the MAX and pay bills. I was recently watching a program about inmates. I couldn't tell the difference. They have so much luxury. I mean well equipted gym, boxing tournament,schools,massive cabled tv room, three square meals. No wonder some of them keep going back. I once watched a program where an inmate said that his best spent life was in prision. They go in looking MESS up and come out looking like HUNKS (muscles and all ). Im bermudian, and i agree they should have to pay rent. Bermuda is a place where u will NOT survive if u don't have money and if u don't know how to manage it properly! they wud easily wind up poor and back on the streets and are more likely to relapse n end back in prison.
