A Dancehall concert in Trinidad and Tobago, has been linked to the robbery-related murder of Lincoln Rampersad, a 65-year-old supermarket supervisor, and cousin-in-law of Nafeesa Mohammed, deputy political leader of the Peoples National Movement, PNM. Police believe he was robbed and chopped to death for an entrance fee at a local concert late Saturday night. The killers escaped with $4,000. Police officials told reporters, whenever there are any international concerts, with performers from Jamaica and the United States there is an increase in robberies just before the events. No arrests have been made, but investigations are still underway. |
