Prime Minister of Barbados, Owen Arthur, has announced some major changes in his Cabinet. These include the creation of new post for former Opposition Leader, Clyde Mascoll. Mascoll just weeks ago joined the ranks of the Barbados Labour Party
Prime Minister Arthur announced among the changes to take affect from February 20th, is the appointment of Dale Marshall as Attorney General and Home Affairs Minister.
He put rest to speculation about his previously announced plans for a reshuffle. The Deputy Prime Minister will no longer be Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs.l.
Also the Ministry of International Business has been abolished. In addition to giving Ms. Mia Motley responsibility for the new Ministry of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr Arthur has her overlooking international business, and the Urban Development Commission and Telecommunications.
