An opposition member feels the current Barbados education system is too fast-paced and is more about churning out children than anything else.
Christ Church East Central representative Ronald Jones maintained children learn no more when they enter school aged three-and-a-half than when they do at age five.
Jones made the charges during his debate on the 2006 Budget.

CXC another Caribbean trickery
A to E was a pass in GCE A'Levels to attend College,Is There 6 levels of Passes for Cape.
CXC is design to keep people at home and give them limited knowledge.
When will people like myself who gain the better education,Stop tampering with it?
Min "Youthful exuberance" Paulwell is now suggesting the concept of e-learning.
Hopefully my 3 year old son, will be carrying a laptop to school soon.
People are not appreciating learning for development, they are gaining certificate for Jobs.
"Do not let them fool you ,or even try to school you,Oh No" We have got a right to decide on our own,so go to hell
Love you all

CXC Vs. GCE!!!
I don't know much about the CXC, however ,I think the GCE was a higher standard. I was fortunate to achieved a few passes whilst attending "St. Georges College".
This is just my opinion, I might be wrong. Maybe we can discuss this further.

My Mum used to tell me about elementary school
Back in those Days, you were not allowed to move from one class untill you had master that level. In came all these certificates and degrees and ,oops only the fittest survive.though thenew system suppose to be more equitable. In Fact, there were children getting CXC grade"2" who were coming out of college who could not read and write. We quickly abondon backra massa system of o'level and now we are surprise.
Children are leaving school in Ja at "16" where the system sey it cannot accomodate them any more.
What should they now do? Go out a bred if you a woman,or go fire gun if you a man!!

More education is needed
i don't think too many youg people are getting the education they need. They are the same ones that pick up the guns because they didn't get the opportunity to learn in school like everybody else. I think this guy is a joke and should consider making the education system more beneficial for younger people.
