Sixty-three year old Rene Preval was sworn in as the new President of Haiti.
He's the first since ousted leader Jean Bertrand Aristide fled Haiti in exile.
Mr Preval is said to be a mild-mannered moderate leftist. he took the oath at a
ceremony attended by foreign dignitaries and members of Haiti's newly elected
parliament.
The mood was largely festive in the capital, although shots rang out at a
Port-au-Prince prison some two hours before the inauguration ceremony.

Politics is corrputed
Sorry to inform you people but politicans are corrupted and are never going to fix the problems in your society. Unless you give them a reason to. Everything boils down to Socialism/ Economical. If you don't posses either those two then they don't give a ......... about you.

Sorry to say!!!
He won't be able to do a thing, first he will have to pay back America for keeping him safe, this will take years. He is only a "Pappy Show". Nothing will change, not anytime soon. Wake up and open your eyes.
