Trinidad & Tobago's FIFA World Cup heroes have been rewarded by the State for reaching the Germany finals.
The country won only one point in the competition, but the Soca Warriors captivated the hearts of fans at home and abroad.
Prime Minister Patrick Manning said the team has been rewarded one million TT dollars each, that's about one hundred and sixty one thousand US dollars.
Team captain Dwight York and Dutch born coach Leo Beenhakker will each get a million and quarter TT dollars or two hundred and one thousand US dollars.
