Two men accused of raping two schoolgirls recently in Jamaica were arrested by local Police after one of them repeatedly harassed one of the victims, requesting to see her again. The men, Daniel Gordon 26 and Dean Haughton, 30 were reportedly caught during a STING operation by the Special Anti Crime Task Force and detectives from the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse. Police say the men ran a sexual con game using British accents to lure young girls with stories of lavish overseas lifestyles. The men, pretending to be brothers, lured their 15 and 16 year old victims to the Golden Spring area in St Andrew where they were repeatedly raped. According to Investigating Officer Detective Corporal Claudette Hepburn, after the incident one of the accused was constantly calling his 15 year old victim, requesting to see her again. Through the intervention of the crime unit, Haughton was captured when he appeared for a meeting with the young lady. He then led the Police to his accomplice. The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child abuse is asking all young girls who may have been victims of this sexual con game or any other sexual assault to contact their offices and speak out about the crimes committed against them.
