The high profile meeting which recently took place at the White House was chaired by US National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley, and included participants such as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, White house Counsel Harriet Miers and and chief Political Advisor Karl Rove. However, whilst these US officials count down the days till Castros demise, prominent Spanish surgeon Dr Jose Luis Garcia Sabrido says the Cuban heros illness is far from terminal. Following a recent visit to Havana, the doctor described Fidels intellectual capacity as excellent, and stated that he was recovering nicely from the operation carried out in June, to stop intestinal bleeding.
