Persons in Barbados have reported an influx of sex workers from around the Caribbean who have come to their isle to benefit from Cricket World Cup. "One club in the City, where you normally find about eight girls, has 20 right now, " a source said. According to reports, there are several workers from Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic who have come to share their expertise and reap the spoils of the cricket tournament. Undisclosed sources have said there are plans to set up an exclusive mens club between the Parishes of St James and St Thomas, whilst another source claimed that certain houses in the suburbs were being transformed into sex clubs during the after hours. There have also been unconfirmed reports of increased incidents involving prostitution of minors and students.
