Passengers from the Bahamas Air line Dash 8 aircraft are giving thanks for their lives after a close call this past weekend when their plane crashed on the Governors Harbour, Eleuthera airport. According to reports, the aircrafts pilot, Brent Edwards experienced difficulty with the landing gear during the final descent and noticed smoke coming from the aircraft. He was subsequently able to perform an emergency landing and carry out the evacuation process with little difficulty. Bahamas air's Managing Director, Henry Woods, confirmed that several passengers were injured but no one was killed in the incident. |
