Trinidad and Tobago's Attorney General, John Jeremie has announced that the government has retrieved millions of dollars pilfered during the Piarco Airport scandal. Speaking in the House of Representatives recently, Jeremie announced that some of those involved had already been jailed in the US, such as Moriah Rodriquez, whose letter of apology for defrauding the people of Trinidad and Tobago was read aloud at the Parliamentary session. Jeremie also announced that Eduardo Hillman-Waller, a former partner in the Birk Hillman group, had materially complied with a court order the repay in excess of 9 million TT dollars.
