In Trinidad, an 85 year old religious leader from India has been detained by Police in San Fernando for allegations of sexual assault. The spiritual teacher or swami arrived in Trinidad late last week to perform a series of religious discourses thoughout the island. However, according to reports from a 22 year old Guyanese female, when she visited the swami, she was sprayed with a liquid and then assaulted. The womans medical reports have confirmed that sexual intercourse took place on the night of the alleged assault. The Swami is being represented in Trinidad by local attorney Prakash Ramadhar |
