In more news from Barbados, the government of that island now has to recruit additional workers to man the wards of its news Tate of the art facility in Dodds, St Philip. The facility, scheduled or opening in August this year, will house some 1250 inmates, currently incarcerated at Harrison Point in St Lucy. Acting Superintendent of Prisons, Lieutenant-Colonel John Nurse said that at present, the were only some 239 prisoner warders employed by the dept and that more numbers would be necessary to run the compound efficiently
