In St Lucia, members of the Opposition Labour Party have called on all St Lucians to stage a demonstration against the ruling United Workers Part Government. The government is currently being led by Acting Prime Minister, Dr Stephenson King who took over from Prime Minister John Compton after he suffered a series of small strokes in May this year. Despite the Members of the oppositions sincere sympathy for the ailing PM, they are of the opinion that the country is in dire need of proper governance.
