Arch Cot Terrace residents are still uneasy, fearing that they too might fall victim to another cave-in. residents said that they are still not comfortable with their surroundings since the dont now how deep the cave runs. Residents met informally with their Member of Parliament and Minister of International Transport Noel Lynch who assured them about their safety. Lynch stated that the results of a preliminary report into the stability of the area should be made public within three to four weeks. He urged residents to "seek counselling. It is being provided, and although I know it might be new, it could be helpful". Lynch said many were concerned about insurance, mortgages and property values.
